Green Greener Greenest

Famous for reds of dress of Adonis

oriental lotus flower blues to Venus

it can only be superseded by young

green of trees—and brushes abound

That like pros and cons of rap and jazz

sky up there—miles a head.

When both G and B are in similar

vein of intensity's chromatic softness

on a shining day nearing its afternoon

soft and still younger, it is.

When one would expect different

though they just set off nature

against muse's music vibrant force

of spinster's textile textures, it still is

Made by women from east to west

and youngest--listen to the small

leaves drawn by a child hand

to show no veins at all--

In shade of foliage to our ear drums.
